Blueberry Overnight Oats

These blueberry overnight oats with almond milk are dairy free, vegan and conveniently made in a jar for breakfast on the go.

Ingredients

  • 1/3 cup old fashioned rolled oats
  • 1/4 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup almond milk You can use any type of milk you like
  • 1/2 tbsp maple syrup
  • 1 handful blueberries, fresh or frozen I use frozen; more cost effective and they last longer
  • pinch of salt

Instructions

  • Add rolled oats, cinnamon, milk, maple syrup, blueberries and salt to a mason jar.
  • Seal and shake the jar for 15 seconds and then refrigerate overnight.
  • Eat cold in the morning or microwave for 1-2 minutes until oats are cooked through.
  • Top with your favorite toppings (see post for tips). Enjoy!

Notes

  • If you use fresh blueberries, you might have to add some extra maple syrup since they might not be as ripe or sweet as the frozen berries
